MUA 2023 – QLD STATE FINAL

Wednesday, May 17 saw the 2023 MUA QLD State Final, presented by Boldly Foods, take place at the Transcontinental Hotel, Brisbane.

Following a series of workshops, fundraisers, and networking events during their time as State Finalists in the Miss Universe Australia self-development program, the 21 finalists were eager to find out who would be progressing as National Finalists. These beautifully confident young women shared their passions, goals and achievements in their official interviews with the selection committee, before being joined by their friends, family and supporters to celebrate their achievements as State Finalists.

A special congratulations to Dayna Wilson who was not only the highest fundraiser in her state, but the highest fundraiser nationally, earning her the title of 2023 QLD ToyBox Ambassador. Dayna raised an incredible $13.8K for the official charity partner of MUA, ToyBox Australia, adding to the current 2023 national total of over $340K, thanks to all of the State Finalists.

Congratulations to Breanna Monck, Dominique Ross, Emily Outridge, Lily Goodare, and Sabrina D’Odorico who will be representing Queensland at the Miss Universe Australia National Final at the Sofitel Melbourne on Collins on Friday, September 1.
