MUA NATIONAL FINAL 2022

Friday, September 9, saw the 28 Miss Universe Australia National Finalists take to the Warner Bros’ Movie World stage for the 2022 National Final, thanks to Village Roadshow Theme Parks.

These inspiring young women showcased their beauty, intelligence and confidence in their swimwear walk, gown walk, and on-stage question and answers.

The finalists wowed the audience in their All About Eve swimwear, Cherrichella heels, ONS Boutique gowns and Stelios jewellery. The evening included announcement of the Top 10 finalists who each answered an on-stage question. Followed by the announcement of Top 5 who each answered the question “What is a question that you would like to be asked and what is your answer?”.

Also announced were the Social Ambassador, Catalina Meldrum, Miss Congeniality, Hanni Howe, and the ToyBox Ambassador, Sally Kurzke, who raised $30.2k for children’s charity, ToyBox Australia.

All prize winners took home an official sash and bouquet of Roses Only flowers.

Also announced, was the winner of the Official Swim Shoot for 2022, Ciara Grehan, which secured her spot in the Top 5.

Finally, the evening concluded with the official announcement of Miss Universe Australia 2022, Monique Riley.

Monique will fly out to New Orleans on January 1st, 2023, to represent Australia at the International Final.
