MUA 2019 BALI TRIP

The Miss Universe Australia international trip to Bali this year was an experience to remember for the 28 National Finalists. The participants took part in filming for the Road to Miss Universe Australia TV Special, as well as the new Miss Universe Australia TV Swim Special which will be aired separately to the main TV show. The incredible stying team including Alison Jade Cosmetics, Kailis Jewellery, Heading out Hair, Circles of Hair & Natalie Anne Hair Care, Showpony Hair Extensions, GHD Styling Tools and Glow by Beca spray tans had each of the girls looking amazing for their shoots with Jarrad Seng. Shooting on site at 3 different spectacular Alila Resorts & Hotels locations produced an array of final images for each of the contestants, all to be highlighted in the Swim Special shot by Mathew Knight Media.

Thanks to our wonderful sponsors, the National Finalists rocked the latest looks from Bondi Born Swimwear, Daniel Wellington Watches, Status Anxiety Bags and Esther & Co clothing. The girls were spoilt with dinner and drinks at a variety of Bali hot-spots, including Candi Beach Resort & Spa, Da Maria, Mrs Sippy, Omnia, Bali Retreats and Warung Restaurant a Alila Villas Uluwatu.

Extra activities were added to the girl’s busy itinerary, including being pampered at Think Pink Nails Bali and TNT Surfschool Bali who helped the girls hit up the surf and learn a few tips from the pros. The top 4 ToyBox International fundraisers were treated to a special visit to see the children from Bali Life foundation including a harvesting program and a cooking class with all the children.

Now that the finalists are back in their home states, the preparation is continuing for the Miss Universe National Final, with the girls working harder than ever on their fitness and communication skills.

The Crowing Ceremony will take place on Thursday June 27th 2019 at the Sofitel on Collins in Melbourne, the girls are so excited to hit the catwalk after bonding and getting to know one another on an amazing trip.
